1. Momentos importantes en mi vida
Yo nací en Rusia el 5 de septiembre de 1982. Viví en Siberia de 1982 a 2003. En junio de 2003 me mudé a San Petersburgo. Estudié allí por 4 años. Trabajé por un año en un restaurante. En 2008, llegué a Estados Unidos. Estudié en la universidad en Nueva York. En 2013 compré una casa en Queens. Ahora vivo en mi casa con mi perro Manolo y mi gata Verónica.
Verbos importantes: Nacer (to be born), llegar (to arrive). Other verbs you can use: casarse (con) (lit. to get married "with"), tener (for having kids), comprar (for buying a house, a car, etc), mudarse (to move). Be careful with the reflexive ones!

4. El tiempo en mi ciudad
En Madrid, normalmente, hace calor en verano. En invierno, hace frío y hace viento, pero no llueve mucho. En primavera, hace calor, y los árboles (the trees) están muy hermosos. Me gusta el tiempo en Madrid. El invierno es suave (soft), nunca nieva, llueve poco, y hace sol muchos días por año.
