The vocab is practical and presented in a way that is easy to understand and not overwhelming to put into practice. I learned more in 10 weeks than 4 years of Spanish is high school.

The teacher was excellent. Good pronunciation help and did a nice job explaining topics. However, he consistently started the class 5 to 10 minutes late because his other class ended too soon to make it on time (not his fault—this is on Berges). Also, because we reviewed the homework so much each class, we didn’t have as much time to learn new topics and practice conversation. I would’ve preferred just receiving the answers via email and having 20 minutes to ask questions about it (and then focusing on new topics). Also, I was sad to see that the teacher was substituted on the last 2 days of the class. This was frustrating.

The course was very beginner-friendly and the teacher outstanding! After the Beginner course I have already begun to have conversations with locals in the area. Will definitely be coming back to take the next level! Thank you Berges Institute! 😃😄
