STORIES FROM THE PAST
In this workshop we’ll attempt to clarify the uses of the two past tenses when telling stories. The preterite is very straightforward, but the imperfect, as you’ll know if you have taken Level 3 with us, has two main uses: an easy-to-understand one (habits in the past: I used to do something, I would always do something) and a hard-to-understand one (thoughts, states, descriptions of a scene). This workshop focuses on the latter.Prerequisites:
16 points on Online Placement Test and/or Level 3.
