Nelson was great at creating a very good class interaction, introducing topics and getting a good conversation going.

Nelson is a fantastic teacher. He does a great job of fusing humor and storytelling and authentic, interesting conversation into teaching and learning. And he's kind to boot! You can tell he cares about his students. The entire course is taught in Spanish, but he is happy to switch to English for further explanation. He has wonderful command over both languages. He's also very tech savvy, which is important during these virtual classes.

Nelson is a dynamic discussion leader and injects humor when appropriate to keep us in a good mood. It isn't easy to teach on Zoom, but he connects with everyone, remembers information from week to week, and keeps us all engaged.
